My Birthday weekend
So Last sunday it was my birthday! Hurray!
And even though the snow attempted to ruin everything
I had a brilliant time!
I went to Manchester on the saturday (where there was no snow, thank god)
with my bf, we went to see Ratatat at the Deaf institute which, might i add,
has the most spectacular collection of wallpaper. The "good Dolly, bad Dolly"
which featured in the ladies toilets was my favourite!
AND there was a giant glitter ball above the dance floor.
As far as presents are concerned I trawled the vintage shops of Manchester and ended up with a
beautiful mink fur trapper hat courtesy of my bf (sorry if you don't like fur, but it's vintage so i'm cool with it).
Also I got a gorgeously illustrated book called " Fifi Lapin- Style secrets of a furry fashionista"
and an amazing aron jumper with leather studded shoulder pads!
It shall surely keep me warm in this cold weather!

New header!
Well, I had decided to do a new header for the old blogski
I had this drawing just lying about doing not
much at all, so I decided to use it.
I was inspired again by the new Wildfox
shoot and also horror movie posters.
It's My favourite header that I've done so far
(There have been a few)
despite it being a way for me not to do any uni work.
Also, I not long ago completed a few illustrations
for Who's Jack magazine.
It's an illustrated fashion shoot which will be in the
December issue which should be out soon.
It will be available in Urban Outfitters
and many many vintage shops around London.
You can also check it out via the online version of the mag!

Classic quotes form classic friends
And todays "classic quote" comes from Mr Jefferson
who came out with this little beaut the other day
whilst we were taking a merry stroll.
I think the sense of irony plays well with the illustration here. :p

This is just a quick illustration I did while
procrastinating against starting my dissertation.
