It started out with a simple pencil sketch,

then I added colour and texture vis photoshop.

I think the sense of irony plays well with the illustration here. :p

but I chose it because I also have this dress

This is one of the main characters for my children's book project. My book being called the girl in the moon. And this is her, Luna. awww

For a uni project i'm creating a children's book based on three random sentences. One being about the moon I was inspired to create my story around this. Here's a first rough draft of my first page and a bit of the story too.
