Three bean chilli :D

And then god said there shall be a chilli, and it shall be comprised of not one but three types of bean!! go forth my children and DRAW!! so that's how it happened. A new collective collective consisting of TOM!! Michael and Melissa (me). Nothings up and running just yet but it's starting nicely and soon we'll be producing all sorts of stuff together. our first project was an illustration based around a shape, in this case the mighty triangle, and a face. Here's mine!

In my room

As a sort of continuation from my recent "antler post", I've decided to reveal some of the artwork and decorative things that I have in my bedroom. I like to collect a lot of stuff and i'm almost running out of wall space but I just love to look at interesting and beautiful things when i'm working or just relaxing. Included in the pics is a collage I made myself, a present from my sis on canvas that she got printed for me, my friends Tom's pen on cardboard piece, and various dead animals!

antler lovin'

OMG I have been wanting some of these antlers for aaaaaagges and when I was in America I managed to find some for the bargain price of only $18! Now proudly hanging on my bedroom wall they bring a tear to my eye every time I gaze upon their splendor!

Here I started playing about with graphic design and mixing it in with my illustration and also some found imagery. really i was inspired by another illustrators work that I came across. He used a lot of strong line and colour contrast.

Here is pretty much the only thing I got round to doing while I was on my holiday. I tried to draw around the streets of venice beach and when I finally did I was approached by a guy who had a 20 min conversation with me and insisted I visited the library, and then was told to smile by a homeless man. At that point I had to look at my life and really think... hmmm, I'm going to stop now.

U.S.A.rt

Hey everybody...I'm back from my trip to the U.S. and it was amazing. I got to see some amazing places from New York to the desert and also spotted some pretty cool artwork dotted about here and there. So, I'm going to post my favourites on here for you all to see :)
